This blog contains photos, mainly taken during diving around Perth and other parts of Western Australia, with occasional other locations thrown in. This header photograph was taken during a trip to Sipadan Island off the coast of Borneo. It shows a Grey Reef Shark disappearing into the gloom, which drops to around 600 metres deep - I was at around 30 metres!!

White Barred Boxfish and Western Blue devil
Both of these fish species are very common on the off-shore reefs around Perth. This shot was taken at the 23 Metre Ledge off Mindarie Marina in Perth's northern suburbs a few days ago. It was nice to catch both species in the same shot.
So great that you got them both in the same frame, beautiful vibrant colours both!
ReplyDeleteBEautiful to see so many colourful fishes around here :)
