This blog contains photos, mainly taken during diving around Perth and other parts of Western Australia, with occasional other locations thrown in. This header photograph was taken during a trip to Sipadan Island off the coast of Borneo. It shows a Grey Reef Shark disappearing into the gloom, which drops to around 600 metres deep - I was at around 30 metres!!

Hairy Crab
We don't often see crabs while diving, so it was a surprise to spot this little guy as he is so well camouflaged. This dive was fairly shallow, around 15 metres, at the Abrolhos Islands. I suppose crabs are more creatures of the shoreline!
I've never seen such a pink, frilly crab before, lucky find and excellent shot!
ReplyDeleteSo it is amazing photo. I would not believe that it can so easily settle on hand. Thanks for all the new photos. Hello. Peter.
