Beautiful Sea Urchin

This shot was taken on a recent trip to the Abrolhos Islands, off the coast at Geraldton, 400km north of Perth. This sea urchin was incredibly brightly coloured and 'looked' soft to touch, although I didn't try! We only saw a few in the four days we were there.

    How enchanting they look in the water, sadly I have only ever seen them dead, washed up on the shore.
