This blog contains photos, mainly taken during diving around Perth and other parts of Western Australia, with occasional other locations thrown in. This header photograph was taken during a trip to Sipadan Island off the coast of Borneo. It shows a Grey Reef Shark disappearing into the gloom, which drops to around 600 metres deep - I was at around 30 metres!!

Sixband Angelfish
This shot was taken at Sipadan Island off Sabah, formerly Borneo, during a trip in May 2010. This species can be found in the tropical waters from the north of Australia and throughout SE Asia.
Precision photo. It must be challenging to photograph underwater. Fish are colors similar to colors of butterflies on land. But they are pronounced. A nice new week wish you Peter.
Great shot although I think it should be called a 'five and a half' band Angelfish!
